What is the minimum time commitment?
We ask for at least 4 hours per month to ensure continuity with our youth. However, many roles offer flexible scheduling to fit your availability.
Are there any specific requirements or skills needed?
We welcome all skill levels! Background checks are mandatory for all youth-facing roles. We also provide initial orientation and training sessions for tech and coaching positions.
What are the next steps after applying?
Once you submit your application, our team will review it and contact you for a brief orientation phone call and to initiate the background check within 3-5 business days.
Can students earn community service hours?
Yes! We track volunteer hours meticulously and are happy to provide certificates or documentation for school requirements or college applications.
Do I need a sports background to volunteer?
Not at all. While sports experience is valued for coaching, we are always looking for mentors for our STEAM programs, operations support, and event planners.
